"Friendly staff! Delicious food! I had half shrimp, half fish meal. The shrimp was nicely fried and juicy. The fish had a nice crisp on the outside and tenderly flaked on the inside. Amazing!"

"Great Service and cozy little place. Waitress, a little old lady; may have been owner, was so pleasant and talkative, she made it a good visit. Food was a little tough on the broiled pork chop dinner. But had good flavor. Overall I do recommend. It is a small cafe style restaurant, nothing fancy. Old timey though. Oh, wanted to add the Ice Tea was the best I had in a long time."

"We loved it!!! Food was great and owner helped us out of a bind when original caterer backed out and left us high and dry for a birthday dinner. Owner came to our rescue and prepared a wonderful Cajun meal and delivered it to the hotel next door !! Great staff (Sylvia ) and very caring!"

"Lived in Mamou for about 6 months. Without this restaurant the town wouldn't be the same. ALL the food is above what you'll expect. And staff is basically a little Michelin cafe in a small town. Gumbo, fried stuff, full breakfast, plate lunches, etc."
